Seon Ashram Trust, Gandibagilu, joyously celebrated the Dasara festival on 12th October 2024 with its residents, marking the occasion with unity, joy, and cultural significance. Presiding over the event, Dr. U.C. Paulose, the Managing Trustee of Seon Ashram, extended his heartfelt wishes, highlighting the essence of Dasara as a festival that transcends caste, creed, and social divisions. He emphasized that Dasara symbolizes the triumph of good over evil and carries religious, cultural, and social significance, bringing people together in shared joy.
Dr. Shivananda Swami enriched the celebration by explaining the profound meaning behind worshipping Navadurga during Navratri, shedding light on the spiritual aspects of the festival. Trustee member Mrs. Mary U.P., along with residents Mr. Ravi and Ms. Saraswathipriya, graced the stage, lending warmth and encouragement to the celebrations.
Following the formal event, residents and staff participated in vibrant cultural programs, showcasing their talents and adding to the festive spirit. A series of exciting competitions were also organized for the residents, with prizes awarded to the winners, fostering a sense of camaraderie and joy among all.
The event was beautifully narrated by Ms. Dinavathi, a dedicated staff member of Seon Ashram. The governing body, staff members, and residents came together in a spirit of unity, making the Dasara celebrations a memorable and joyous occasion for everyone involved.
