Joyful Reunion of Mr. Sandeep Parahai with his Family after 3 Months Apart

Sandeep Parahai, aged 26, was found wandering the streets of Puttur city, suffering from a severe mental disorder and inadvertently causing distress to the public. On July 15, 2024, ASI Puttaswamappa and Police Officer Nagendra of the Puttur city police station brought him to Seon Psychiatric Hospital and Rehabilitation Center for urgent treatment. Upon admission, Sandeep was in a fragile mental and physical state, unable to recall any personal details.

At Seon Ashram, Sandeep received comprehensive medical care, therapeutic counseling, and constant support. He actively participated in various activities and recreational programs, which greatly contributed to his swift recovery, both mentally and physically.

Thanks to the diligent efforts of the medical team, particularly the psychiatric care provided by Dr. Anil Kakunje, Seon Ashram was able to trace Sandeep’s hometown of Chhipadohar in Latehar District, Jharkhand. Through continuous efforts, contact was made with Sandeep’s father, Mr. Nanakku Parahai, who was overjoyed to learn that his long-lost son was alive and receiving treatment. A family who had been grieving the loss of their son for years suddenly found hope.

On September 25, 2024, Sandeep’s father and family traveled to Seon Ashram, where they were emotionally reunited with him. The joy and relief they felt upon seeing Sandeep safe, healthy, and happy at the ashram were immeasurable. The family was given detailed information about his ongoing treatment, and the next steps in his recovery were discussed with them.

In the presence of Seon Ashram Managing Trustee Dr. U.C. Paulose, Trustee Member Smt. Mary U.P., the management board, staff, and residents of the ashram, Sandeep and his family were blessed and sent home with heartfelt wishes. Sandeep, filled with joy, was finally reunited with his loved ones after many difficult years.

This reunion serves as a testament to the dedicated care and compassion of the team at Seon Ashram, offering hope and healing to those in need.
